Tree Preservation during Construction

Please join us for a talk by local arborist, Kyle Offerdahl, on municipal tree codes and best practices for tree preservation during construction.  He'll address how coordination between various professionals (consulting and municipal arborists, tree care workers, engineers, architects, planners, etc) and through all phases of construction helps to ensure the successful preservation of existing trees. 

Kyle is the President of General Tree Service and has 15+ years of experience as a certified arborist. 

7:00-7:30: Arrive & socialize 

7:30-8:00 Open-Mic

8:00-8:45 Klye Offerdahl on tree codes & best practices for tree preservation

Registration is not required. Open to all past, present, or prospective ANLD members. 

PLEASE NOTE:

Room 7 is located on the western wing of the building. Parking is available and free in the south lot as well as the upper west lot (the lower west lot is not free).

The Multnomah Arts Center pipes burst in the January freeze. While there are portable toilets available, the regular bathrooms are not in service yet.
