Join us for an exciting evening of education with New York Times best selling author, acclaimed entomologist, ecologist, and professor Doug Tallamy. Tallamy has revolutionized the way we look at the relationship between plants, insects and birds and why native plants are so important to include in our gardens. He is also one of the founders of Homegrown National Park, promoting habitat restoration and biodiversity of native plants.
Featured local author Kristin Ohlson will speak on Cooperation in Nature, and owner of Arboriculture International Brian French will discuss The Habitat in the Trees and Around the Trees.

A big thank you to Bartlett Tree Care and East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District for stepping up to be our Presenting Sponsors for the event. And thank you to our Gold Level Sponsor: Tualatin Soil and Water Conservation District. Thanks to our Silver Level Sponsors as well: Apogee Landscapes, Cornell Farm, D&J Landscape Contractors, Sauvie Island Natives, Treephoria, and Winterbloom Landscaping Cooperative.
